My passion is making my clients happy and exceeding their expectations. Having great hair isn't just about a regular visit to a salon. It's about you, your lifestyle, your vibe. I'll take the care to understand your vision and why you came to see me in the first place. By learning more about you, your individuality, and your home hair regime, we can create the look that you'll love and feel like the beautiful human you are. I'll help you understand how to recreate it so you look and feel fab between your Jomi visits.

For 25-plus years, I've been involved in the hair industry as a stylist, salon owner, and six of those years traveling the country as a trainer and representative for Kérastase. I took a few years out just to have a break and try another industry and see if the grass was greener. I missed the industry badly so I'm back, and have used all my years of knowledge and experience to create a gorgeous sustainable Davines salon for both clients and stylists.

I'm privileged to have been asked to join the Davines team as their NaturalTech ambassador, traveling around our gorgeous country to train and excite other amazing stylists...more news to come on this!

Colourist / Creative Stylist

Hi! I’m Alice, I’m a bubbly, creative with 15 plus years experience in the industry.

I started my career in Nelson before moving to Wellington where I’ve been for the majority of my career.

Hairdressing is so much more than a fabulous colour and style, it’s also empowering people to feel and look their best. When you’re in my chair, I’ll start with a consultation and listen to you, build trust, connection and of course you will get a fabulous 5 star experience with Jomi!

I love all aspects of my craft. From balayage to Vivid colours, shag cuts to undercuts. I adore creating beautiful relationships with my clients! I’m so looking forward to welcoming both past and new clients. Hit me with your wildest hair dreams!

Summer is a driven third year apprentice with a passion for the creative arts. Last year she competed in the NZ Hair, Barbering and Beauty Industry Awards, placing in top three for Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year! We are so excited to help her continue to grow and develop her personal style as a professional stylist.

Kia ora e hoa! I'm super excited to be a part of this team and get the chance to support them while learning the technical stuff along the way.

I'm someone heart-set on connecting and creating an experience that leaves you feeling like you have a second home here at Jomi. You deserve to look and feel amazing inside and out, no matter what that looks like for you, full stop!

What you can expect from me is an obsessive love for curls and clinical scalp/hair treatments. My main area of expertise is permanent colour, homecare diagnosis and head massage techniques to release built up tension.

I’m passionate about hair, being creative, and making people feel happy. I’m new to the industry and absolutely loving it. Being able to turn what the client wants into reality is something that really attracted me hairdressing, even if that’s a cut and blow wave or creative colours.

Working at Jomi is great, everyone on the team is so lovely and it’s just a warm and friendly environment to be working in. It’s like a family and we work together to make Jomi feel welcoming and to do our very best for everyone who visits. Can’t wait to see you.
